Bodycam Reissad Points (RP): How to Earn and Spend Them

If you’ve returned to Bodycam after the Locked & Loaded update, you may be wondering about different issues regarding Reissad Points. Issues like what Are they in the first place and why you’re earning them are dealt with in this article and what you should actually spend them on is also not forgotten.

The new RP system has changed how progression and unlocks work, but not everything about it is immediately clear.

What Are Reissad Points in Bodycam?

Reissad Points (RP) are the only progression currency in Bodycam’s Locked & Loaded update (v0.8). Players earn them by completing matches and spend them on functional weapon attachments and loadout items through the in-game tactical tablet.

There is no premium currency, no battle pass, and no real-money purchases available in this update. The system replaced earlier random or use-based unlocks, giving players direct control over what they equip.

Temporary Shop Closure

The in-game shop remains temporarily disabled as part of the v0.8 interface rework. Reissad Studio stated they prioritized shipping the major update and improving the core game over maintaining a storefront.

Their policy is that a shop should always be an addition rather than the priority. Locked & Loaded contains no real-money transactions, though the studio has indicated the shop will return at a later date.

How to Earn Reissad Points Faster in Bodycam

Official patch notes list clear RP multipliers by mode: Wingman and Versus both grant +100 percent, Hardpoint +75 percent, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch +50 percent, and Gun Game +25 percent.

Zombies follows a separate table based on wave clears, boss kills, and puzzle completions. RP is awarded for overall participation, objectives, and performance rather than kills alone, making consistent play in higher-multiplier modes the most efficient path.

I’ve seen some players share private-server methods using bots, often on the Paintball map in Deathmatch, that report high returns in short sessions. These are of course player-discovered workarounds rather than official rates and can change with any future update.

For legitimate public play, Wingman and Versus currently offer the strongest returns, with Hardpoint serving as a strong middle option.

Highest-Value Early Unlocks and Spending Priority

When spending RP, the highest-value early unlocks are an optic (red dot) on a main primary weapon, followed by a grip on the same gun, a reliable secondary pistol, an extended magazine, and then a suppressor or muzzle brake depending on playstyle.

The recommended approach is to fully build and test one solid loadout before spreading points across multiple weapons.

Bodycam 10,000 RP Bonus Explained and Other Community Concerns

Apparently, new accounts received a 10,000 RP starting bonus while many longer-term owners did not and that caused fairness concerns. One other issue of the patch is that public-match RP gains feel slower until players focus on the higher-multiplier modes.

The temporary shop closure has also frustrated players who want immediate cosmetics. Suggestions that the shop is permanently removed or that RP can currently be purchased with real money contradict official statements for v0.8.

Best Current Progression Strategy

There is no single prescription for all players, you should choose your progression strategy based on your personal style but there is one very effective approach.

Queuing Wingman, Versus and also Hardpoint for faster gains, prioritize an optic and grip on one primary weapon, and expand the loadout only after testing it thoroughly can be considered a nice strategy. Logically investing on one weapon after carefully choosing it results in the best outcome possible.
